(one block north of Bethany Home Road on north-bound access road of I-17).

Fourth Saturday evening except June, July and August at 7:00 PM at American Red Cross Building, 6135 N. Black Canyon Highway (I-17), Phoenix, AZ (one block north of Bethany Home Rd. on the north bound access road to I-17). Bring original and copy of amateur license, original and copy of any CSCE's, photo ID, and exact amount of testing fee, $15.00 in cash, as making change can be difficult.

Email either Gary Hamman or George Cooney, listed in Contacts above, at least one day prior to testing to pre-register, in order to get your name on the access list maintained by the ARC security guards. The Red Cross has some security concerns, and all people who will be testing must be on the access list prior to the testing date.

Club Net

The club net meets on one of the following two repeaters: Primary 147.060+ (no PL tone), secondary 147.280+ (162.2 PL tone) repeater. We meet every Thursday evening at 7:30 PM except on club meeting nights, which are the second Thursday of each month. We also usually have a link on Echolink by connecting to WA7EDI or K7JJT.

2011 APRIL ARCA HAMFEST

The Arizona Amateur Radio Club Hamfest for 2010 was held at our usual location on April 10 in the South parking lot of DeVry University in Phoenix. The Hamfest was very successful. This year the Arizona Amateur Radio Club Hamfest will be run by The Amateur Radio Council of Arizona (ARCA). It will be held on April 16, 2011, at the usual location in the South parking lot of DeVry University, 2149 W. Dunlap Ave. in North Central Phoenix. We hope to see everyone there on April 16th 2011. Fourth weekend in June, June 25 & 26, 2011, at the American Red Cross Building, Phoenix, AZ. Field Day goes from 11 AM on the 25th to 11 AM on the 26th. The club usually operates 3 transmitters from the EOC, which is a 3F operation.
